La Ermita Golf Club in Cieza, in the north of the Murcia Region, is a beautiful 18-hole course set in a dramatic river valley landscape along the Segura river. The course is known for its scenic beauty, with mature trees, water features and views of the surrounding orchard-filled countryside for which Cieza is famous. The club house restaurant serves traditional Murcian cuisine alongside an excellent wine list featuring wines from the nearby D.O. Jumilla and D.O. Yecla wine regions. Cieza is in the heart of Murcia's fruit-growing heartland and is celebrated for the spring blossom season (floración) when the almond and peach orchards bloom. Approximately 45 minutes from Murcia City and 1 hour from Alicante.
