Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the access and use of the Piderico platform, including the website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively the "Platform") operated by Piderico ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

Piderico provides a digital marketplace that connects customers with independent restaurants, food venues and event providers for ordering food, arranging delivery or collection, reserving tables, ordering to table and booking events.

By using the Platform you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Platform

Piderico is a technology marketplace platform only.

  • We do not own, operate or control restaurants.
  • We do not prepare or package food.
  • We do not guarantee food quality, safety or ingredients.
  • We do not supervise restaurant staff.

All contracts for food, beverages, table bookings, and events are formed directly between the customer and the restaurant or venue.

2. Definitions
  • Customer means a person using the Platform.
  • Restaurant Partner means any independent venue listed.
  • Order means any request for food delivery, collection or table service.
  • Booking means any table or event reservation.
  • Delivery Services means fulfilment by restaurants or third party couriers.
3. Eligibility
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must provide accurate information.
  • Accounts may be suspended for fraud or misuse.
4. Orders
Orders placed through the Platform are transmitted to the selected restaurant.
  • The restaurant decides whether to accept the order.
  • Orders become binding once accepted.
  • Restaurants control menu pricing and availability.
  • Images and descriptions are provided by restaurants.
5. Delivery
Delivery may be performed by:
  • Restaurant delivery drivers
  • Independent couriers
  • Third party logistics providers
  • Delivery times are estimates only.
  • Customers must provide accurate delivery information.
  • If a customer fails to receive an order it may be cancelled without refund.
6. Collection Orders
  • Customers must collect orders at the restaurant.
  • Orders not collected may be disposed of.
  • Refunds are at restaurant discretion.
7. Table Bookings
  • Reservations are subject to availability.
  • Venues may require deposits.
  • No shows may result in loss of deposits.
8. Event Bookings
  • Events are organised by venues.
  • Piderico is not responsible for event quality.
  • Event cancellation policies are determined by the venue.
9. Food Safety and Allergens

Restaurants are solely responsible for food preparation and compliance with food safety regulations.

  • Allergen information must be confirmed directly with the restaurant.
  • Piderico accepts no responsibility for allergic reactions.
  • Piderico accepts no liability for food poisoning or contamination.
10. Payments
Payments may be processed through third party providers such as Stripe.
  • Piderico does not store payment card data.
  • Service fees may apply.
  • Restaurants determine final pricing.
11. Refunds
  • Refunds are handled by the restaurant partner.
  • Piderico is not obligated to issue refunds.
  • Piderico may assist with dispute mediation.
12. Chargebacks and Fraud
  • Fraudulent orders may result in account suspension.
  • Chargebacks may lead to account termination.
  • Piderico reserves the right to recover costs associated with fraudulent transactions.
13. Reviews
  • Reviews must reflect genuine experiences.
  • Fraudulent reviews may be removed.
14. Platform Availability
  • The Platform is provided "as is".
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
  • Piderico is not liable for food preparation.
  • Piderico is not liable for food safety.
  • Piderico is not liable for delivery issues.
  • Piderico is not liable for venue behaviour.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the platform service fee paid for the order.

16. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify Piderico against claims resulting from misuse of the Platform.
17. Intellectual Property
All platform content belongs to Piderico or licensed partners.
18. Data Protection
Personal data is processed under UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
19. International Use
The Platform may operate internationally including the United Kingdom and Spain. Local consumer protection laws may apply.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
